After almost two years of growing out his hair, Wayne Paget had his locks cut by Shawn at the Spa Eurphoria on Friday May 22. Wayne's hair will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society to help make wigs for women who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment.

This simple act of generosity makes a world of difference to women with cancer. It takes 8 to 15 ponytails to create 1 real-hair wig. Donated hair must be at least 7 inches in length. Wayne's hair was close to 9 inches so a little to spare. Wayne was obviously enjjoying his "new" look by extending the growing phase as long as he could.

After much discussion on the home front, with Kim Paget preferring her husband with short hair, and Wayne's daughters Brooks and Whitney, fancying Dad's new 80's look, the decision was made to stick to the original plan. It was time to donate the hair.

Wayne doesn't look all that upset that his currebnt locks were clipped, but joked he was starting immediately to grow his hair for a second donation. And who could argue with that?
